As of May 10, we are very happy to have our boarders back on campus with permission from the local authorities and the support of their parents. Our focus is helping them during this time by promoting more sports activities, whilst respecting the current hygiene measures- a highlight has been enjoying weekend hikes in nature. When students travel in public they wear masks. In addition to the handwashing stations in every room on campus, hand sanitizer is used before meals and we have changed our restaurant methods so food is served to them to avoid cross-contamination. We are respecting social distancing measures which means all boarders have their own bedroom and shower. Our curriculum has been adapted to involve discussions about supporting their immune systems through healthy eating choices; more fruit and vegetables and more physical activity. We believe that this holistic approach to the students undertanding of the pandemic will support their whole being- mind, body and spirit during this radical time in our collective history.
