Badminton Success
The SGIS badminton tournament took place at the International School of Lausanne, bringing together strong competitors from international schools across Switzerland.
From her opening match, Linda demonstrated skill, determination and composure. Playing with confidence and consistency, she progressed impressively through the tournament, overcoming every opponent she faced. Her combination of powerful attacking play, intelligent shot selection and excellent movement around the court proved simply too strong for the competition.
As the tournament progressed, Linda continued to raise her level. She remained focused under pressure and showed the competitive spirit needed to turn an excellent performance into a tournament victory. By the final stages, she had established herself as the player to beat – although, as her opponents discovered, that was considerably easier said than done!
Her victory is a fantastic individual achievement and another proud sporting moment for Saint-Charles. It also reflects the qualities we encourage in all our students: commitment, resilience, confidence and the determination to give their very best.
