| A typical day at Saint-Charles is built around clear routines, good sleep, healthy habits, and purposeful study. Evenings are dedicated to sport, music, service, and leadership activities, along with time to relax and recharge. |
| What do the boarding spaces look like? |
| Each boarding house includes a common lounge, creating a welcoming space to relax and connect. Houses are fully equipped, with calm, comfortable rooms and warm shared areas designed to make students feel at home. |
| How is study supported? |
| Study is supported through supervised prep, individual coaching, and targeted guidance, helping each student build confidence and independence week by week. |
| How is student wellbeing cared for at Saint-Charles? |
| Student wellbeing is at the heart of boarding life. Through our WELL360 approach, we notice the small things early - from sleep to friendships and motivation - so that support can be offered before issues arise. Each boarding house is led by House Parents and supported by a dedicated team who know every student personally and work closely with families to ensure every child feels safe, understood, and cared for. |
| What can I do on the weekend? |
| Weekends at Saint-Charles offer a carefully balanced mix of discovery and downtime. Students enjoy local adventures in the Jura, excursions across Switzerland, and trips to neighbouring France, Germany, and Italy - as well as time to rest and recharge. |
| What is the food like? |
| Meals at Saint-Charles are fresh, nutritious, and varied, with vegetarian and allergy-friendly options available. Dining is also a social experience, enjoyed in a well-supervised and welcoming environment. |
| How do you handle phones and tech? |
| We set age-appropriate limits to help protect students’ sleep, focus, and relationships. Devices are managed overnight and during study times to encourage healthy balance. |
| How are rooms allocated? |
| Rooms are allocated to create balance, foster friendships, and encourage a healthy mix of interests and cultures. Student requests are always considered and handled with care. |
| What co-curricular activities are on offer? |
| Students can take part in sport, arts, outdoor pursuits, cultural experiences, and service activities. They are also encouraged to lead projects and help shape the programme themselves. |
| What about health care? |
| We provide a nurse onsite, quick access to local doctors and dentists, and careful management of medication to ensure every student’s well-being. |
| Is laundry included? |
| Yes. Laundry is provided weekly, including washing and ironing. |
| How do parents stay connected? |
| Parents are kept closely informed through regular updates from House Parents and have clear, direct ways to get in touch whenever needed. We place great importance on building an open and trusting partnership with families, giving parents peace of mind while their child is with us. |

| English is the main language of boarding life, while French is widely spoken both on campus and within the local community. |
