UNIVERSITY PREPARATION
University preparation and guidance are a core part of the Saint-Charles experience, particularly in the final years of study. Our dedicated University Support Team is well-versed in the application processes and deadlines of institutions in Switzerland and around the world.
Working closely with each student, we help identify universities that fit their aspirations and profiles. Students also benefit from our extensive University Library tool and have the chance to meet representatives from leading universities, both virtually and in person, giving them the confidence to align their goals with future opportunities.
This support begins early. From the Middle Years Programme (MYP), students take part in regular guidance lessons, attend university talks and fairs, and receive tailored advice on IBDP subject selection in MYP5.
DIPLOMA PROGRAMME
In the Diploma Programme, the guidance becomes more personalised: DP1 students refine their choices and prepare application materials through individual and group sessions, while DP2 students receive weekly one-to-one meetings as they finalise their applications.

Beyond academics, our co-curricular and super-curricular programmes – from clubs and CAS to subject-specific enrichment – help students develop the well-rounded profiles needed for competitive applications.
